Alright, so I wanted to get back into golf. I haven’t played in ages, and my buddy suggested Lansbrook Golf Club. I looked it up, and it seemed like a decent place, so I figured, why not? Let’s give it a shot.

Booking
First thing I did was try to book a tee time. I checked a few sites, and it looked like you could snag some discounts if you booked online. I’m all about saving a few bucks, so I went ahead and booked through one of those discount sites. Seemed easy enough. They had a bunch of different times available, so I picked one that worked for me and my friend. I think I saved, like, 30%? Not too shabby. I saw that on the site, they said that I can save up to 50% off, but maybe it’s because of the time period I chose. Whatever, 30% is not bad!
Getting There
The day of, we drove out to the course. It’s in Florida, and finding the place was pretty straightforward, especially with my friend’s help. I just followed the directions on my phone, and we got there without any issues. The place looked pretty nice from the outside. You know, big green lawns, trees, the whole nine yards. Parking was easy, too. There were plenty of spots available, and we didn’t have to walk far to get to the clubhouse.
Playing
We checked in at the clubhouse. The staff were friendly and got us sorted out pretty quickly. We rented some clubs since I didn’t bring mine. The rental clubs were okay. I’ve definitely used better, but they did the job. I think if I come back to play, I will probably bring my own clubs.
- Teeing Off: The first tee was nice. It was a good warm-up.
- Fairways: The fairways were in pretty good shape. They were well-maintained, and the grass was cut nicely.
- Greens: The greens were also decent. A little fast, maybe, but nothing too crazy.
- Bunkers: I landed in a few bunkers. They were a bit rough, to be honest. The sand was kind of hard-packed.
- Overall: The course itself was pretty enjoyable. It had a good mix of challenging holes and some easier ones.
Shopping
After our round, we stopped by the pro shop. I always like checking these out, even if I don’t buy anything. They had a pretty good selection of stuff. Golf balls, clubs, clothes, you name it. I saw some Titleist Pro V1x balls, and I was tempted to grab a box, but I held back. My wallet thanked me. Maybe next time. There’s no membership fee, and I saw a sign said free two-day shipping. But I don’t need anything for now, so I just browsed.
Wrapping Up
All in all, it was a good day at Lansbrook Golf Club. The course was fun, the staff were friendly, and the weather was perfect. I’d definitely go back again. Maybe next time I’ll actually buy those golf balls. Or maybe I’ll just stick to browsing. We’ll see. Anyway, if you’re in the area and looking for a place to play, I’d say give Lansbrook a shot. It’s worth checking out.
