This here thing, ain’t nobody got time for fancy words, so I’ll just tell it to ya straight. Kids these days, they go to school, they learn things. This *, it’s like that, but it’s some kinda special school, I reckon.

Gettin’ Learnin’ Done
Now, they got all sorts of learnin’ goin’ on there. You wanna study somethin’? They probably got it. My grandbaby, she’s smart as a whip, she went to one of them university places. This * sounds like that. They teach ya how to do things, how to figure things out.
- They teach ya how to manage your time, like when to plant taters and when to harvest ’em.
- They show ya how to do your chores, I mean, your schoolwork. Gotta get it done right, ya know?
- And they teach ya how to make a good routine, just like gettin’ up with the sun to milk the cows. Except no cows, probably just books and such.
Ya gotta be ready for it, though. It ain’t all fun and games, this schoolin’ business. Gotta work hard, gotta pay attention. Like tendin’ to your garden, gotta weed it and water it, or nothin’s gonna grow. Same with your brain, gotta feed it with knowledge.
Helpin’ Hands
They got folks there to help ya, too. Like neighbors helpin’ each other bring in the hay. These folks, they know about learnin’, and they can show ya the ropes. If you’re strugglin’, they can help ya get back on track.
This study skills thing they talk about. Well, ain’t that just common sense? Gotta know how to study, how to remember things. Like rememberin’ which chicken laid which egg. Gotta keep track of it all.
They call it “one-on-one,” like when you’re sittin’ on the porch with someone, just talkin’. They listen to ya, help ya figure things out. It’s good to have someone to talk to, ‘specially when things get tough. That is what I always say when I chat with my daughter-in-law. Sometimes things are really difficult, but the university can help you.

Gettin’ Ready for the Big World
They say this thing can help ya get ready for the real world. Like learnin’ how to drive a tractor before you go out on the road. Gotta practice, gotta learn the rules.
They even got somethin’ for the young’uns, the high school kids. They can get a head start, like startin’ your seeds indoors before plantin’ season. Gives ’em a little boost, I reckon.
- They can learn about that “college” thing.
- They can get credit for some stuff.
- I reckon it’s for the high school kids.
My great-grandson wants to join it. He will get some help. And I heard he can get some money.
It’s all about learnin’ new things, tryin’ new things. Like when you try a new recipe for the first time. Might be a little scary, but it could turn out to be somethin’ wonderful. And you should be brave to try something new. I think those university of Vermont people are very smart and they know what they are doing.
Makin’ the Most of It
They say you gotta make the most of this thing. Like gettin’ every last drop of milk from the cow. Gotta get your money’s worth, ya know?

They got these things called “clubs” and “internships.” Sounds fancy, but it’s just like joinin’ the quiltin’ circle or helpin’ out at the general store. You learn things, you meet people. They said the students will success.
I think it is important to talk to other people. If you want to learn something, you need to ask someone who knows. Just like what I did this morning. I asked the grocery store clerk how to make that new cake. She told me how to make it and it was really good.
Learnin’ is a Cycle
They say learnin’ is like a cycle. Like the seasons, always changin’, always comin’ back around. You prepare, you absorb, you capture. Sounds like makin’ preserves to me. Gotta get everything ready, gotta soak it all up, gotta seal it tight so it lasts.
And that is about . I do not know too much detail about it. But I am sure it is good for young people. It is always good to learn something. I remember when I was young. I went to school, too. Although it was a long time ago, I still remember some knowledge. If you can go to this school, you can try it. It will be good for your future. You can learn things and meet many good people there. It might be a little hard, but hard work always pays off. Just like tendin’ to your garden, you put in the work, and you’ll reap the rewards. That’s what this whole school thing is about, I reckon, reapin’ the rewards of knowledge.
