Well, well, well, let me tell you somethin’ about these here LOL skins. My grandson, he’s always on that computer playin’ that game. He’s always talkin’ about these “skins,” like it’s some kinda fancy dress-up for those little characters he’s got runnin’ around on the screen. I swear, these young’uns and their games.
He keeps sayin’ “Grandma, new skins coming!” Like I care what these little fellers are wearin’. But he gets so excited, gotta let him have his fun. He says there’s some called “Prestige” or somethin’. Sounds like a fancy word for “expensive” if you ask me. You can find them in the Mythic Shop, my grandson says. That shop is like a shop on the computer. They update it often, he said.
He showed me one time, all these sparkly outfits and what not. He says you gotta use somethin’ called “Mythic Essence” to get ’em. I think this is some kind of game money or something. I don’t know how you get this, but he says it is hard to get. Sounds like a load of hogwash to me, but what do I know? I’m just an old lady.
He was goin’ on and on about some upcoming LOL skins. Like they’re the most important thing in the world. He said there are some popular skins or something. I don’t remember all the names, but some are called “Project,” some are called “Star Guardian,” and some called “KDA.” He said these are very popular, and everyone wants them. I don’t see the point, but it makes him happy.

He showed me some picture of a girl with pink hair, said it was a popular LOL skin. Said her name was “Jinx” or somethin’. Then there was another one with all these colors, called “Elementalist Lux.” Another one, “Project Vayne”. Kids these days like to make things complicated. Back in my day, we didn’t have all these fancy skins. We just played the game!
These upcoming LOL skins, they change all the time, he says. Every few weeks, somethin’ new. You know how these young folks are, always chasin’ the next shiny thing. He says there’s a “Loot Tab” on his computer. He goes there to get these skins. It’s like shoppin’, but on the computer. I still prefer goin’ to the store myself, but what can you do?
Now, he was tellin’ me about some special skins, somethin’ about “Mythic” somethin’ or other. I don’t know. He said you use them to get skins, and chromas, and other things. What’s a chroma? I guess it is like the color of the skin or something. These young people and their fancy words. They have special names for everything.
He said these upcoming LOL skins, they cost a lot of that “Mythic Essence.” He’s always tryin’ to get more of it. He’s like a little squirrel, savin’ up his nuts for winter, except it’s these digital outfits he’s after. I told him, “Boy, you better be savin’ your real money, too!”
I don’t understand it, but it makes him happy. And that’s all that matters, I reckon. As long as he’s not gettin’ into trouble, let him have his fun with his LOL skins upcoming. He’s a good boy, even if he does spend too much time on that computer.
These kids nowadays, they’re all about these games. It is crazy. He says there will be more upcoming LOL skins soon. I think he said something about a new champion, too. Whatever that means. It’s like a whole other language they’re speakin’. And I am just trying to keep up with him. I don’t know how he remembers all of this.
He says these upcoming LOL skins are a big deal. Like it’s some kinda event or somethin’. He gets all excited, showin’ me pictures and talkin’ a mile a minute. I just nod and smile. He’s happy, so I’m happy. These skins are like a hobby for him. He really likes to collect them. I guess it is better than some other things he could be doing.
Well, I guess that’s all I know about these here LOL skins. They are very popular among young people. It’s a lot to keep up with, but my grandson, he keeps me in the loop. He’s a good boy, teachin’ his old grandma about all these newfangled things. He is very excited about these upcoming LOL skins. These young people really like to get new things. I guess it is the same as when I was young. We just did not have computers back then.
