So, I’ve been meaning to get back into golf, you know? It’s been ages. And I heard about this Lions Club Golf Course, figured I’d give it a shot. I dusted off my old clubs – man, they were in the garage for way too long!
Getting Started
First thing I did was try to find some info about the course online. Honestly, there wasn’t a ton. Which I guess, made it a little adventure, right? No calling for the course details, I just drove to the course address.
I packed up my bag, threw in some extra balls (because, let’s be real, I’m rusty), and headed out. The drive was okay, nothing too crazy. It turns out to be in a nice quiet area.
The Course Itself
- Checked in at the clubhouse. It’s pretty basic, nothing fancy, but the people there were super friendly.
- Grabbed a scorecard and a pencil. I’m old school, I like to keep score the manual way.
- I find the course is a little bit on the, shall we say, “well-loved” side. It is not very crowded.
- It’s got some interesting holes, a few tricky ones, but nothing too intimidating.
Wrapping Up
I played a full round, and I’m not gonna lie, my score wasn’t great. I lost a few balls, shanked a couple of shots, and three-putted more times than I’d like to admit. But hey, I had fun! That’s what matters, right?
After I finished, I headed back to the clubhouse. It’s really a nice place to hang out after golf.
All in all, it was a good day. The Lions Club Golf Course is a solid, no-frills place to play. If you’re looking for a super challenging, perfectly manicured course, this might not be it. But if you want a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where you can just enjoy a round of golf, I’d say give it a try!
