Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with some “man o war” pictures. You know, those jellyfish-looking things that are actually kinda scary? Anyway, I needed a bunch of these pictures for a project I’m working on.

First, I fired up my computer and opened my browser. I just went straight to a search engine and typed in “man o war stock photos”. I figured I’d find a good variety that way. I wasn’t looking for anything specific, just a wide selection to pick from.
The search results were pretty overwhelming, to be honest. There were like, a thousand-plus pictures of these things! Some were close-ups, others were taken from farther away, showing them in the water. Some were even of people getting stung, which was a bit much for me, but hey, to each their own.
I started browsing through the results.
- I clicked on a few that caught my eye.
- I opened them in new tabs so I could compare them later.
- There were so many good ones, it was hard to choose!
After looking through a bunch, I started to narrow down my choices. I was mostly interested in the pictures that showed the man o war’s colors really well. They’re actually pretty beautiful creatures, despite being dangerous.
I ended up with around twenty pictures that I really liked. But there were some problems. They were all paid stock photos and not free to use directly, and I needed more pictures. So I typed in another website in another tab to see what they had, and repeated what I did before.

Finally!
I finally got a huge folder full of man o war pictures. Some were from websites, some were free to use, and some were not.
So, yeah, that’s how I spent my afternoon – hunting for pictures of weird sea creatures. It was more fun than it sounds, I promise!
It was a successful day. Got plenty of pictures!
