Okay, so I’ve been hyped about Marvel Rivals ever since it was announced. I mean, a 6v6 hero shooter with Marvel characters? Sign me up! But what really got me digging in was when I saw some leaked images of the character models. They looked insane, and I needed to see more. So I started my own little investigation, and here’s how it went.

The Deep Dive Begins

First, I just started scouring the usual spots – you know, fan forums, gaming news sites, anything I could find. Initially, it was mostly just speculation and blurry screenshots. Not exactly satisfying.

Then, I started to get a bit more methodical. I built a list of all the confirmed characters. We’re talking about folks like Iron Man, Spider-Man, Hulk, Black Panther, and a bunch more. My goal? To find the highest-quality images or videos I could for each of them.

Hitting Paydirt (Sort Of)

The official trailers and gameplay videos were the best initial source. I went through them frame-by-frame, grabbing screenshots whenever a character model was shown in good detail. It was tedious, sure, but seeing those models up close was worth it.

I started organizing my findings. I made separate folders for each character, and within those folders, I had subfolders for different things like:

  • Full Body Shots: To see the overall design and proportions.
  • Close-Ups: Focusing on details like the textures of their suits, facial expressions, and any unique features.
  • Action Poses: To get a sense of how the models look in motion, checking for any weird clipping or awkward animations.

Analyzing the Details

Once I had a decent collection, I started really looking at the details. Take Iron Man, for example. I was paying close attention to how the armor plates looked, the way the light reflected off them, and how the suit moved when he was flying or firing repulsors. It’s pretty clear they put a ton of work into making it feel authentic.

With Spider-Man, I was fascinated by the way his suit seemed to stretch and wrinkle as he swung around. And with Hulk, it was all about the muscle definition and the sheer sense of power they conveyed through his model.

Still So Much to See

Now, I know this isn’t a comprehensive breakdown of every character model. And I’m definitely not a professional 3D artist or anything. But as a fan, it was super fun to do this little deep dive. It really made me appreciate the level of detail the developers are putting into this game.

I’m still actively looking for more info and higher-quality visuals. It’s like a treasure hunt, and every new image or video I find feels like a little victory. I’m sure as we get closer to the game’s release (or maybe even some more leaks!), we’ll get even better looks at these amazing character models.
