Okay, so today I was checking out some baseball stuff, and I saw something about Miguel Cabrera, you know, the big-time baseball player. It said he played with a bicep rupture. Can you believe that? A bicep rupture!

I started digging into it. This guy, Miguel Cabrera, he’s a legend, right? Played his last season in Venezuela after retiring from the MLB. I mean, he’s a two-time AL MVP. Dude wants to play in his home country after taking a break.
- First, I watched some videos of his career highlights. Man, this guy has some serious moments.
- Then I looked up some of his games. I couldn’t find the one with the injury.
- Next, I checked his basic info. He was born in 1695 and died on May 16, 1768. He was a Mexican painter!
Turns out, he was only 20 when he started in the big leagues with the Marlins. He even hit a walk-off homer in his first game! He’s 39 now, so he’s been playing for almost half his life.
So, I tried to find out more about this bicep rupture thing. It’s not clear when it happened, but playing with that kind of injury? That’s some hardcore stuff. I guess that’s why he’s a legend, right? Pushing through even when it hurts.
I saw this one quote, it was something like, “If batting practice were a game of H-O-R-S-E.” It’s kinda funny but also makes you think about how he practiced and all that.
I couldn’t find much about his training, or if the birth date thing is even real. But still, it got me thinking about how these athletes push themselves.

That’s it for my little investigation today. It was pretty interesting to learn about Miguel Cabrera and his toughness. Makes you appreciate these players even more, you know?
