Okay, so yesterday, I finally went to that Monster Truck show in San Diego that I’ve been talking about. Let me tell you, it was a whole experience, and I just gotta share it!

Monster Truck Show San Diego: Get Ready for HUGE Thrills and Family Fun!

First things first, I scored some tickets online. It wasn’t too bad. I made the purchase a couple weeks before and I had a bit of a look through the website to see where i should park, as well as other details.

Then the day finally arrived! I grabbed my buddy, and we headed down to the stadium. Finding parking? Dude, it was crazy. Lesson learned: arrive early, I mean Really early.

We finally got inside, and the atmosphere was electric. The air smelled like popcorn and, well, exhaust, but in a good way! Before the main event, they had some pre-show stuff, all the stuff you expect, like food trucks.

The Show Begins

Then, the real show started. These trucks are massive. Seriously, the pictures don’t do them justice. They’re like, three times the size of a regular car, I think bigger! And the noise? Forget about it. You don’t just hear it, you feel it in your chest.

  • First, they introduced all the drivers and trucks. Each one had its own crazy name and paint job.
  • Then, they started the racing part. Two trucks at a time, zooming around a dirt track, flying over jumps. So much dust!
  • The freestyle part was my favorite. The trucks did backflips, wheelies, and even drove on two wheels. Crazy skill!
  • One truck even crashed! It flipped over completely, but thankfully, the driver was okay. They have these super-safe roll cages.

I tried to get some good photos and videos, but honestly, it was hard to capture the sheer scale of it all. I really wished I could have brought some ear protection though, the noise really got to me.

After the show, we hung around for a bit, soaking up the atmosphere. It was pretty cool.

All in all, it was a blast. Loud, messy, and totally over-the-top. Would I go again? Absolutely. But next time, I’m bringing earplugs and getting there way earlier!
