Okay, so I got really into this NASCAR 1967 thing. It all started when I stumbled upon some old racing footage online. I was instantly hooked!

First, I started digging. I mean really digging. I spent hours just browsing through forums, old websites, anything I could find. I wanted to know everything about that season.
My Deep Dive into the Archives
- I pored over race results. Trying to figure out who won what, and by how much. It was like a puzzle!
- Then, I got obsessed with the cars. The shapes, the engines, everything. I spent ages looking at photos and trying to identify the different models.
- Next I research drivers and teams, I found information on Richard Petty.
Then, I decided to try and recreate some of the races, I fired up an old racing game, and spent days tweaking the settings, the tracks, everything. I even changed game parameter and game * wasn’t perfect, but it was close enough for me to get a feel for what it might have been like.
It was tough, there is not enough infomation on internet. Finally, I managed to put it together, car models, racing data… Man, it felt good to finally piece it all together.
It’s been a wild ride, this whole 1967 NASCAR thing. I’m still learning, still discovering new things. And that’s what makes it so much fun.
