Okay, so I wanted to mess around with some NBA data, specifically the 2014 All-Star roster. I’ve always been a huge basketball fan, and that year was pretty memorable. So, I decided to dig in and see what I could find and play around with.
Finding the Data
First things first, I needed the actual roster. I started with a simple Google search, just typing in “nba 2014 all star roster”. The very first page had the full listing. Nice!
I copied every player’s name and which team they came from, and also the coach and their team.
Compiling what I found
After I got every player, I started to put them into 2 groups, East and West.
