So, I’ve been messing around with watching WWE SmackDown lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I used to watch it as a kid, and it’s cool to see what’s going on now. I figured I’d share my experience and what I’ve been up to with it. First off, I had to figure out where to even watch this stuff. Turns out, SmackDown airs every Friday night. I started watching it on USA Network at 8 PM Eastern Time. They are going to make it a 3-hour show starting January 3rd, 2025. Can you believe it? Three hours of wrestling action! I am really excited about this change!

I found a few ways to catch it live. I tried out DirecTV Stream and Fubo TV, both have free trials, which is pretty sweet. I also checked out Sling TV. I ended up using the free trials to see which one I liked best. It’s kind of a hassle to switch between these, but hey, free is free, right?
Now, about the show itself, I started watching it regularly. Man, things got intense really fast. I saw this headline about Roman Reigns getting totally wrecked, some crazy heel turn, and even an assault in the parking lot. It’s like every week there’s some major drama going down.
Match tracking
- Cody Rhodes and Jimmy Uso vs. Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu: I heard this match was confirmed. I need to mark my calendar for this one. It sounds like it’s gonna be a big deal. I saw A-Town Down Under’s theme played. They are cool.
- LA Knight, Apollo Crews, and Andrade vs. Solo Sikoa: Apparently, LA Knight and his crew were seeking revenge after getting beat down by The Bloodline. I love some good old revenge.
And, of course, I had to catch the episode airing on January 10, 2025, live from the Moda Center in Portland. It sounded like it was going to be packed with action. I really wanted to see it.
So yeah, that’s basically what I’ve been up to with WWE SmackDown. Watching matches, figuring out where to stream it, and trying to keep up with all the storylines. It’s been a blast from the past, and I’m definitely hooked again. I’ll probably keep watching and see where this all goes. It’s like a soap opera, but with way more body slams. Who knew wrestling could still be this entertaining?
