Okay, so I saw this thing online about Dustin Poirier getting a tattoo removed, and I was like, “I gotta try this myself!” I’ve had this old, kinda embarrassing tattoo on my arm for years, and I’ve been wanting to get rid of it. So, inspired by Dustin, I decided to finally do something about it.

The Research Phase

First, I hit up Google. I searched for “tattoo removal near me” and looked at a bunch of different places. I checked out their websites, read reviews, and compared prices. It was a little overwhelming, to be honest. There are so many options!

Making the Appointment

I finally picked a place that seemed legit and had good reviews. I called them up and booked a consultation. The lady on the phone was super nice and answered all my questions. I felt pretty good about it.

The Consultation

At the consultation, I met with a technician who examined my tattoo. She explained the process, which involved lasers, and told me how many sessions it would probably take. It sounded a bit intense, but I was determined to go through with it.

The First Session

I was nervous for my first session, not gonna lie. I showed up, filled out some paperwork, and then they took me to the treatment room. The technician put some numbing cream on my arm, and then we waited for it to kick in.

Once I was numb, she started the laser. It felt like little rubber bands snapping against my skin. It wasn’t super painful, but it definitely wasn’t comfortable. The whole thing took about 15 minutes.

Aftercare

After the session, my arm was a little red and swollen. The tech gave me the insturction and told me how to take care of it. I had to keep using some cream.

The Results (So Far)

It’s been a few weeks since my first session, and I can already see a difference! The tattoo is definitely lighter. I know it’s going to take several more sessions to completely remove it, but I’m excited about the progress.

I will keep doing it, and I am so glad to remove the tattoo on my arm. It really works!
