I was trying to figure out the whole schedule for the NFL playoffs, but man, it was more confusing than I thought it would be. First off, I had to know which teams were even in the playoffs, right? So, I started checking out some sports news sites to get the team names.

I found out that from the AFC, it’s the Kansas City Chiefs who got a bye, which is pretty cool for them. Then you’ve got the Buffalo Bills playing against the Miami Dolphins, the Cincinnati Bengals going up against the Baltimore Ravens, and the Jacksonville Jaguars facing off with the Los Angeles Chargers. On the NFC side, I learned that the Philadelphia Eagles also got a bye.
Next, I needed to figure out when these games were actually happening. I looked around and found that the playoffs were starting on January 14th. But honestly, the scheduling was all over the place. It felt like each site I checked had a different piece of the puzzle. I had to piece together the dates and times from different places, which was kind of a pain.
Then there’s the whole thing about where to watch these games. I saw that there’s something called NFL+, which apparently is part of the NFL app and their website. It seemed like you could watch live games on your phone, get NFL RedZone, and a bunch of other stuff. It sounded pretty useful, especially if you’re out and about and still want to catch the games.

The subscription starts at $6.99/month, which I thought was a good thing.

I made the decision to subscribe to NFL+.
But even with all this, I still felt like I was missing some info. Like, I wanted a simple, clear bracket that showed all the matchups in one place. After looking around some more, I finally managed to piece together a full picture of the playoff bracket. It took way more time than I expected, to be honest.
In the end, I got all the info I needed about the NFL playoff times and where to watch the games. It was a bit of a hassle, but now I’m all set to watch the games. Still, it would’ve been nice if all this information was just in one place from the start. It felt like a bit of a treasure hunt just to get the full schedule and viewing options.
After a bit more digging, I found out that the season ended with the Kansas City Chiefs winning Super Bowl LVIII. That was a neat little fact to stumble upon while I was trying to get all my playoff ducks in a row. So, in the end, not only did I get the playoff schedule sorted, but I also picked up some trivia along the way. Pretty productive, I’d say!
