Okay, so I’ve been following the No Prep Kings series for a while now, and keeping track of the points standings is always a bit of a scramble. This year, I decided to get organized! Here’s how I went about tackling it, and what I’ve pieced together.

First Steps: Finding the Data
Initially, I was just checking race results on random forums and social media, that was messy.
I tried so many different search terms I recall one of them was “No Prep Kings official results.” and started poking around.
Building My Tracking System
After gathering information,I wanted was a simple spreadsheet. Nothing fancy,I grabbed my old spreadsheet and started typing.
- Driver: This is the easy.
- Points: The key column, obviously.I fill it from the website that I found before.
- Event: Where did they earn the points? I note down the event location.
- Notes: Any extra details, like if someone had a major win, or a mechanical issue.
Keeping It Updated
It’s not a one-and-done thing, after every race weekend, I repeat the initial steps. Find the results, then update my spreadsheet.
It is kinda fun, I feel way more connected to the racing now that I’m actively tracking it. It’s no longer just watching the races; I’m involved in the bigger picture of the championship fight.
