Alright, so, I’ve been getting a bunch of questions lately about how to snag the best seats at NRG Stadium, so I figured I’d just lay it all out there based on my own experiences.

Finding Your Perfect Spot
First off, I gotta say, “best” is kinda subjective, right? It all depends on what you’re looking for. But generally speaking, if you’re there for a Texans game and wanna be right in the heart of the action, you’re gonna want to aim for those seats between the 30-yard lines. I’m talking about sections 125 through 128, or on the other side, 105 through 108. I managed to sit in section 126 once, and man, the view was killer!
Bag Situation
Now, let’s talk about what you can bring in. I learned this the hard way, but they’re pretty strict about bags. You can only bring in these tiny little clutch purses, like, smaller than your hand, 4.5 by 6.5 inches to be exact. Anything bigger? Forget about it. I saw a lady get turned away for having a regular-sized purse. So, make sure you downsize or you might end up missing the kickoff.
If You’re Feeling Fancy
Okay, so for those of you with some serious cash to burn, you can rent out a luxury suite. I haven’t done this myself, ’cause, you know, I’m not made of money. But I did some digging, and it looks like these suites go for anywhere between 15 grand to 35 grand per game! It depends on who’s playing and what day it is. It’s a big chunk of change, no doubt.
Getting the Lay of the Land
When I was trying to figure out where to sit, I spent a good chunk of time staring at the NRG Stadium seating chart. I’m not gonna lie, it was a little overwhelming at first, with all those sections and rows and seat numbers. But I’m glad I did my homework, ’cause it made all the difference.
So there you have it, folks. That’s my two cents on navigating the seating situation at NRG Stadium. Hope it helps some of you out there! Just remember, do your research, pack light, and get ready to have a blast!
