This here talk is about that Ohio Penn State thing. You know, them football games. Them boys sure do like to hit each other hard. I seen it on the TV, all that running and tackling. Makes my old bones ache just watching ’em.

Ohio and Penn State, They Sure Do Go At It
They been playing each other for a long time, I reckon. Since way back in 1912, someone told me. That’s before my time, even! They call it a rivalry. Sounds serious, don’t it? Like when my rooster used to fight with that mean old hen next door. Lots of squawking and feathers flying, I tell ya.
Seems like Ohio, them Buckeyes, they win more often than not. Got a good record, 25 wins to 14 losses or something like that. Penn State, them Nittany Lions, they gotta step it up if they wanna catch up. But they met 37 times! Them boys play a lot.
- Ohio State, they the Buckeyes.
- Penn State, they the Nittany Lions.
- They been playing since way back when.
- Ohio usually wins, but not always.
I seen that one game, where that Penn State coach, James Franklin, he got all riled up. Lost to Ohio again, I guess. Ten times he’s lost to them, poor fella! He was yelling at some fan after the game. Probably wasn’t very nice words, neither. Folks get mighty worked up about these games.
Them Games, They’re Always a Big Deal
They say this Ohio Penn State game, it’s one of the biggest ones in college football. Bigger than my prize-winning pumpkin at the county fair, even! Lots of folks watch it, that’s for sure. Gets everyone talking. More exciting than watching my stories, that is.
Penn State, they lost to Ohio eight times in a row now. Eight! That’s a lot of losing. They almost won a few of them, though. Close, but no cigar, as they say. Makes you wonder what they gotta do to get a win.

I heard someone say that Ohio and Michigan, that’s another big one. Maybe even bigger than Ohio Penn State. Can you believe it? Must be a real humdinger. Like when my neighbor’s cow got loose and ran through my garden. Chaos, I tell ya!
All Them Football Games
It’s all a bit much for me, all this football talk. But I know folks love it. Keeps ’em entertained, I suppose. Better than watching paint dry, as my old man used to say. He always watch them games, too.
They got all these fancy words for it, too. “Rivalry,” “series record,” “matchup.” Sounds like something them city folks would say. I just call it a football game. Simple as that. But if you ask me, Ohio Penn State sure is a big deal.
I remember one time, back when I was a little girl, we went to a football game. Wasn’t Ohio Penn State, but it was still exciting. Lots of people yelling and cheering. I got a hot dog and a soda. Best day ever! These football games sure got people excited.
- Lots of folks watch these games.
- It’s a big rivalry, they say.
- Ohio and Michigan is another big one.
- Penn State needs to win more!
Well, I reckon that’s all I got to say about that Ohio Penn State business. It’s a lot of fuss over a football game, if you ask me. But folks sure do love it. And who am I to judge? As long as they’re having fun, that’s all that matters. Now, where’s my knitting? I got a scarf to finish.

These young folks and their football. Back in my day, we just played in the dirt. Didn’t need no fancy stadiums or television cameras. Just a ball and some friends. Simpler times, I tell ya. But I guess times change. Still, that Ohio Penn State game, it sure does get folks riled up. It is a big deal.
Ohio State Buckeyes and Penn State Nittany Lions
That’s what they call ’em, these teams. Fancy names. Like those show dogs at the fair. All primped and proper. These football players, they’re tough, though. Gotta be to play that game. All that running and hitting. Makes my back hurt just thinking about it.
So, Ohio Penn State, it’s a big deal, huh? Well, I’ll be. Maybe I’ll watch it next time it’s on. See what all the fuss is about. Might even make some popcorn. And yell at the TV like everyone else. When in Rome, as they say. Even if you are watching Ohio and Penn State.
