Okay, so I finally decided to combine my love for Peloton and my interest in UFC. Here’s how it went down.

Getting Started
First, I dusted off my Peloton bike. It had been a while, I admit. Then, I browsed through the Peloton app to see what kind of workouts they had that might be UFC-related. I wasn’t expecting much, to be honest.
I was pretty surprised! They actually have a whole section called “Strength for MMA.” Who knew? I picked a 30-minute class with Rad Lopez. He seemed pretty intense, which is what I wanted.
The Workout
Let me tell you, this wasn’t just some light stretching. We started with some basic warm-ups, like jumping jacks and high knees. Then, things got real.
- We did a bunch of bodyweight exercises, like push-ups, squats, and lunges. Nothing too crazy, but it definitely got my heart rate up.
- Then came the MMA-inspired stuff. We practiced some shadow boxing, throwing punches and kicks. I felt a little silly at first, but I quickly got into it.
- Rad also had us do some core work, like planks and Russian twists. My abs were burning! He really likes core.
- The toughest part was probably the sprawls. We had to drop down to the floor like we were defending a takedown, then quickly pop back up. Those were killer!
Throughout the workout, Rad kept emphasizing proper form and technique. He also talked about how these exercises would help with real MMA moves. It was actually pretty motivating.
The Aftermath
By the end of the 30 minutes, I was drenched in sweat. My muscles were tired, but in a good way. I felt like I had actually done something, you know?

I’m definitely going to keep doing these Peloton UFC workouts. They’re a fun way to mix things up and get a good sweat in. Plus, I can pretend I’m a fighter without actually getting punched in the face. Win-win!
