This year, that baseball, oh, it’s somethin’ else. Those Nationals, they might be doin’ some tradin’. Heard it’s gonna happen before July 30th, 6 p.m. That’s what I heard. Time is ticking, you see. They’re always movin’ players around, like checkers on a board.

They say the Nationals are gettin’ some young fellas, fresh faces, for the future. That’s what they always say, “for the future.” Hope it works out, for their sake. They always trade some players for some new guys, it’s always like this. I don’t know how it will be, hope the Nationals will be better after that.
Nationals Trade Deadline
July 30th, keep that in mind. That’s the big day. Trade deadline, they call it. Like a finish line or somethin’. They gotta make all their deals before then. Nationals will trade some good players. They are all good players, you know. But they just trade them.
This one fella, Jake Burger, they traded for him. Makes ’em more flexible, whatever that means. Got more options, I guess. And that other one, Lowe, they moved his money around. Didn’t just give him away, though. Got somethin’ in return. It’s really hard to understand, you know. They always have their own plans.
- Jake Burger
- Lowe
- More players I don’t know
Now, the Nationals, they let go of this Kyle Finnegan. He was a closer, whatever that is. And another one, Tanner Rainey. Both gone, free agents now. Surprisin’, they say. This Finnegan, he was an All-Star this year. Big shot, I guess. Had 38 saves. Sounds important.
Players Nationals Could Trade
They got all these pitchers, throwin’ that ball. Andrew Heaney, some fella named Jose Quintana, Max Scherzer, Justin Verlander, and Charlie Morton. Lots of names to keep track of. Too many, if you ask me. I can’t remember all of them. They are all pitchers, and the Nationals may trade some of them.

That trade deadline is important, you know. They always say that. Gotta get the best deals. Make the team stronger. Hope it works. This baseball, it’s a business. Big business. Lots of money involved. Not like when I was young.
These Nationals players, they’re good boys, most of ’em. Work hard, play hard. But it’s all about winnin’, you see. Gotta win. And if tradin’ players helps ’em win, then that’s what they’ll do.
I remember this one time, back in my day, we traded a cow for some chickens. Same kinda thing, I reckon. You gotta give somethin’ to get somethin’. Hope they know what they’re doin’, these Nationals.
What Will Happen in 2024
This year, 2024, it’s gonna be interestin’. Lots of changes, I bet. New faces, new plays. Maybe they’ll win more games. Maybe they won’t. Who knows? Baseball is unpredictable, like the weather. I just hope they can win more games, that’s all. Win more games in 2024, that’s not too much, right?
They say these young players they’re gettin’, they’re good. Real good. Future stars, they call ’em. Hope they’re right. We’ll see, I guess. We’ll see what happens. Time will tell. Time always tells. July 30th, that’s the time, before 6 p.m. Then we will know who will stay and who will go.

I just hope they don’t trade away all the good ones. Gotta keep some good players, you know. Can’t trade ’em all. Gotta have some experience, some veterans. These young fellas, they need someone to look up to. They need the experienced players to teach them. Old players are useful, you know.
This trade deadline 2024, it’s a big deal. For the Nationals, for the players, for the fans. Everyone’s watchin’. Everyone’s waitin’. See what happens. I hope everything will be better. I really hope so. For the Nationals, for all the players.
Well, that’s all I know about that. Baseball and these trades. It’s a lot to take in. But I’ll be watchin’. I’ll be rootin’ for the Nationals. Hope they do good. Hope they win. That’s all we want, right? Win some games and have a good time.
