Okay, folks, gather ’round. Today, I decided to dive into the Quordle weekly challenge, and I figured I’d walk you through how I got to the answers. It’s always a bit of a mental jog, this game.

My Initial Approach
So, I fired up the game. My first instinct, as always, is to get a good spread of common letters and vowels out there. I usually start with a couple of words that cover different bases. For this weekly challenge, I went with my trusty “AUDIO” first. You know, get those vowels locked down, or at least see where they land. Then, for my second guess across all four words, I usually throw in something with common consonants like “STERN” or “CRANE”. Today, I think I leaned towards “STERN”.
Tackling the Grids
After those initial guesses, things started to take shape, but slowly, as they often do with Quordle.
The First Word: This one gave me a bit of trouble initially. I had a yellow or two from my opening words, maybe an ‘A’ and an ‘E’ floating around. I remember shuffling letters in my head, trying to piece together something sensible. It took me a good three or four attempts on this specific word before it clicked. I had a couple of green letters in place towards the end, and then it was just a matter of finding that one missing link.
The Second and Third Words: These were a bit of a group effort, mentally speaking. Information from the first word, even the incorrect guesses, helped narrow down possibilities for the others. I recall getting a solid green letter on the second word fairly early, which was a relief. The third word, though, that one was playing hard to get. I had a few yellows, but their placement was elusive. I think I solved the second word completely, and that freed up some mental space and confirmed some letter absences, which then helped crack the third one. It’s like a domino effect sometimes.
The Fourth Word: By the time I got to the fourth word, I had a decent number of letters eliminated or confirmed from tackling the other three. This is often the case – the last word can either be super obvious because you’ve used up so many letters, or incredibly tricky if it uses uncommon letters you haven’t tested yet. Today, it was somewhere in the middle. I had a couple of key letters from the overall process, and then it was just a process of elimination for the remaining spots. I remember trying one combination that was so close, just one letter off, before finally landing the correct one.

The “Weekly Challenge” Feel
As for the “weekly challenge” aspect, it didn’t feel outrageously different from a tough daily Quordle, to be honest. Maybe one or two words were a bit less common, designed to make you think a little harder, but nothing too obscure. The main challenge, as always with Quordle, is juggling those four words simultaneously in your brain.
Getting to the Answers
So, through a process of:
- Good starting words to cover common letters.
- Paying close attention to green (correct position) and yellow (correct letter, wrong position) clues.
- Using information from one word to help solve the others.
- A bit of trial and error, especially when down to the last few possibilities for a word.
- Mentally (or sometimes physically, if I’m really stuck) listing out possible letter combinations.
I eventually got there. All four words lit up green. That feeling of seeing all of them solved is always pretty satisfying, isn’t it? It’s a good little brain teaser to get through.
And that’s pretty much how my session went for finding the Quordle weekly challenge answers today. It took a bit of persistence, but we got there in the end. Always a fun way to spend a few minutes (or more, depending on the day!).
