Well, let me tell ya, this here Royals Craft and Draft, it’s somethin’ else. Heard folks talkin’ ’bout it down at the stadium, so I had to see what all the fuss was about. Sounds fancy, don’t it? But it ain’t too bad for us regular folks.
Cheap Eats and Drinks
They got this thing, a value menu, they call it. Five bucks or less for some stuff! Can you believe it? Beer, soda, hot dogs, even them pretzels and popcorn. Back in my day, you couldn’t get nothin’ for five bucks at a ball game. You can find these deals in sections 120, 135, 201, 213, 242, 405, 417, and 422. Good to know if you’re on a budget like me.
Now, if you’re like me, you like to bring your own grub. They say you can bring food in, long as it fits in one of them gallon-sized freezer bags. Clear plastic, mind you. And gotta be individual portions, ain’t no bringin’ a whole pie in there! For drinks, just one clear plastic bottle of water, one liter or smaller. And it better be sealed shut, no open drinks. I guess no one is takin’ in their own beer.
Fancy Seats, Maybe?
There’s some fancy spots too, like this QuikTrip fountain deck. $178 to get in there. Pricey, but you get all the food and drinks you can handle, they say. Got them flat-screen TVs, tables and chairs… sounds like a good time if you got the money. And a good view of right field, they tell me.

Get There Early
If you want a good spot, gotta get there early. Some folks say buy the cheapest ticket you can find. Then, run like a chicken with its head cut off to the Craft and Draft. They got these high-top tables in the shade and that air conditionin’, which is nice on a hot day. Not many of them though, so you gotta be quick!
It is located on the club level 2/3 of the way down the 3rd base line. You have very nice views of the entire stadium. It was a good place to sit at the Royals White Sox game and relax. You can sit and enjoy the game if you are lucky enough to get a seat.
Lots of Beer
This Craft and Draft, it’s all about the beer. They got a whole bunch of different kinds, especially that Boulevard beer. If you like beer, this is the place to be. I like to drink one when I can, so I like to go over there. If it is too crowded, I can always find another spot.
Down the third baseline on the Loge Level, you will find the Craft and Draft section. There are a variety of beers, atypical seating and plenty of shade. So you will be able to get out of the sun if you want to.
When to Go to Royals Craft and Draft
Now, when to go? Well, for them Friday to Sunday games, gates open 1.5 hours before the game. But that Gate C, that opens 2 hours early for them fancy Crown Club ticket holders. For Monday to Thursday games, I ain’t too sure, best check with someone who knows. It changes all the time, and I can never remember.
Just Go See for Yourself
Honestly, best thing to do is just go see for yourself. It’s a big place, lots to see and do. You can find something you like, I’m sure of it. Even if it’s just people-watchin’, that’s always fun at the ballpark. You are sure to have a good time if you go to a Royals game.
If you get a ticket at the tables, it is worth it. The tables are full service, so you don’t have to get up to get anything. You can just sit and enjoy the game.
Just remember to check the rules before you go. They change ’em all the time. Don’t want to get there and be disappointed. And have fun! That’s the most important part. Go Royals! I hope you can get a seat at the Royals Craft and Draft. It sure is a good time when you are there.
Royals Craft and Draft is the Best
So you see, you have a lot of options. You can bring your own food, get cheap food, or eat all you can eat. You can sit in the shade, sit in the sun, or sit at a table. You can drink beer or you can drink water. No matter what you do, you can have fun. I think that going to the Royals game is the best thing to do in the summer. The Royals Craft and Draft is the best place to go to watch the game.
