Alright, let’s talk about my fantasy football start/sit decisions for Week 7. I wrestled with this all week, and I finally locked in my lineup. Here’s how it all went down.

First, I opened up my fantasy app and stared at my roster. It’s a mess, honestly. Bye weeks and injuries are killing me. I needed to make some tough calls, especially with my running backs. I have, no kidding, four guys on bye this week.
Running Back Rollercoaster
- I have Josh Jacobs, he played on Thursday night, so at least that decision was made for me already.
- Then, Breece Hall is on bye…so, benched.
- And so is Dalvin Cook…also benched
- Kenneth Walker III is on bye. Another one sits.
- Lastly, I have, Rhamondre Stevenson, He’s been up and down, but the matchup is decent. I decided to start him.
So, I’m basically starting Rhamondre and praying for a miracle. I also picked up a guy off waivers, Roschon Johnson, just in case. Fingers crossed he gets some touches.
Wide Receiver Woes
Wide receiver was a little easier.
- I always start my studs, so Ja’Marr Chase is in.
- I decided to start Christian Kirk, the guy is a point machine!
- Then, for my flex, I could start another WR, Jordan Addison, that I have on my bench.
After much thought, I decided to give my WR, Jordan Addison, a chance to be starting on my flex position.
Quarterback Quandary
Quarterback was straightforward.

- I only have one healthy QB, C.J. Stroud. So, he’s starting. It’s that simple.
I scrolled through the available quarterbacks on the waiver wire, but nobody really jumped out at me. I’ll just roll with Stroud and hope for the best.
Tight End Time
- Tight end? I have Dalton Kincaid. He’s been okay, but not amazing, but I need a tight end.
I thought about trying to trade for a better one, but no takers. So, I stick with Kincaid
Defense and Kicker
For defense and kicker, I just look at the matchups.
- I grabbed the Raiders Defense because they’re playing a rookie QB.
- And my kicker is Brandon Aubrey, he’s been pretty consistent, let’s just roll with it.
I don’t spend too much time on these positions, to be honest.
So, that’s it! My lineup is set. I made my choices, and now I just have to wait and see what happens. It’s a gamble, but that’s fantasy football, right? I’ll check the scores throughout the day and probably yell at the TV a few times. Wish me luck!
