Alright, so I wanted to put together the ’98 Bulls roster, you know, for my own collection of basketball stuff. I’ve always been a huge Bulls fan, especially that era. Figured it’d be cool to have a definitive list.

First, I grabbed my laptop and opened up a new document. Gotta start somewhere, right? Just a plain, blank page at this point.
Then, I started searching. Just simple stuff in the search bar, like “’98 Chicago Bulls” or “’98 Bulls roster”. I went through a bunch of different pages. Some were okay, some were kinda useless with bits of information.
Building the Roster
I began to list the main guys, the ones everyone remembers. These were no-brainers:
- Michael Jordan – Obviously.
- Scottie Pippen – The dynamic duo!
- Dennis Rodman – The Worm!
- Toni Kukoc – The Croatian Sensation.
- Luc Longley – The big Aussie.
- Ron Harper – Steady hand.
After that core group, I dug a little deeper. I needed to fill out the rest of the roster. It got a little trickier here, because, honestly, my memory isn’t perfect on the bench players from back then.
I cross-referenced a few different websites, making sure the names matched up. This is where it got a bit tedious, but I wanted to be accurate.

I added these guys to my list:
- Steve Kerr – Clutch shooter.
- Bill Wennington – Another big man.
- Randy Brown – Backup point guard.
- Jud Buechler – Solid role player.
- Dickey Simpkins
- Keith Booth
- Joe Kleine
- Rusty LaRue
Finally,I had the full roster and it is amazing! It felt good to see it all laid out.
