A few days ago, I saw a really cool motorcycle online, the Honda NM4. I gotta say, it’s a love-it-or-hate-it kind of bike. I was intrigued, so I decided to dive in and check it out.

First, I went to a local dealership to see if they had it. They did! It looked even more futuristic in person. I asked a bunch of questions about it. It’s got this 745cc engine, which I learned is a pretty proven and reliable one from Honda. It’s not some crazy new design, but one they’ve used before and it works well.
- Looked at the Engine: It’s a 745cc, liquid-cooled engine, nothing too fancy, just a solid, reliable Honda engine.
- Checked out the Transmission: This is where it gets interesting. It’s got an automatic Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT). It’s got two modes.
The salesman let me take it for a short spin near the dealership, on the highway. The ride was smooth. I took it up to speed on the highway for a few minutes and then back. The DCT is different. It shifted smoothly, and I could see why some people might really like it, especially in city traffic.
I spent some time looking at the overall design. It’s definitely unique, not like any other bike I’ve seen. They call it “Vultus” in some places, which makes sense given its futuristic appearance.
After the test ride and spending some time with it at the dealer, I did some more research online. I wanted to know what other people were saying. I read some reviews, watched some videos, and it confirmed what I thought – it’s a polarizing bike. People either love it or they don’t.
My conclusion
The Honda NM4 is a solid bike with a proven engine and a unique transmission. The design is what really sets it apart, and it’s not for everyone. But for someone looking for something different, something that stands out, this might be the perfect bike. It’s also got a reasonable price, with some research showing it available in the Philippines for around Rp 435 Million. I also saw some talk about a new Nexus phone, and it made me think about how technology evolves, even with motorcycles like this NM4. It’s not perfect, and I read about some minor electrical problems, like some other Honda models, but nothing major. Overall, it was a fun experience checking out this unique bike!
