This guy, Tony James Brooks, well, he sure can run with that ball. I seen a lot of football in my days, you know, and this fella, he’s got somethin’ special. Reminds me of that old mule we used to have, strong and just kept on goin’. He played for them Steelers, the ones with the black and gold. I always liked their colors, real pretty.

He ain’t just played for the Steelers, though. Heard he was with some other teams too. One was called the Falcons. Big birds, them Falcons. Fly real high. Guess he flew high with ’em for a bit. Then he went to some college, Oregon, I think they said. Ducks, they got there. Lots of quackin’, I imagine.
Then I heard he went to some team called the Stallions. Horses! Big strong ones, them stallions are. He must like runnin’ with the strong types. He plays running back, ya know. That’s the fella who gets the ball and tries to run all the way down the field. Tony James Brooks, he’s good at that. Real good.

They got all these numbers they keep track of. How far he runs, how many times he gets tackled, all that stuff. I don’t understand all them numbers, but I know he runs a lot. And he runs fast. Tony Brooks-James, What’s Next?
Don’t know where he’ll end up next. Maybe another team will pick him up. Maybe he’ll go back to college. Maybe he’ll just run around for fun. Who knows? He is a free agent, which means he is a bird that can fly anywhere. That Tony James Brooks, he’s got a lot of runnin’ left in him, I reckon. He just needs to keep running like he has been, and he will get picked up.
He’s a good boy, that Tony James Brooks. Hope he does well. I’ll be watchin’ to see where he goes next. Like watchin’ that old mule, wonderin’ where he’s gonna wander off to. But that mule always came back. Maybe Tony will come back to the Steelers, too. I would like to see that, but I don’t know if it will happen. He sure does run good, though. Yep, he sure does.
