Alright, so last week I made my way over to TPC Piper Glen in Charlotte. I’d heard some good things about the place, like how Arnold Palmer himself designed the course. Figured it was worth checking out, right?

First off, let me tell you, getting there was a breeze. It’s located in Charlotte, and finding the place was no problem. The address is somewhere around Piper Glen Dr, if I remember correctly. Anyway, once I got there, the first thing I noticed was how well-kept everything looked. I mean, the fairways and greens were in top shape.
Now, before I even hit the course, I stopped by the clubhouse. Gotta say, it was pretty fancy. I heard that the place is quite exclusive. Initiation fee is a big amount, and also something per month in dues. So, I made sure I was dressed appropriately—collared shirt, tucked in, the whole nine yards. They’re strict about that kind of stuff, you know?
After getting settled, I headed out to the course. Let me just say, playing on a course designed by Arnold Palmer was a cool experience. The layout was challenging, but not so difficult that I couldn’t enjoy myself. Plus, the views were pretty awesome. Each hole had something different to offer, which kept things interesting.
After my round, I decided to grab a drink at the bar. It had a solid setup and a good atmosphere. It was the perfect way to relax after a day on the course. I chatted with a few folks there, and it seemed like everyone was having a good time.
Here are a few things I picked up during my visit:

- Dress Code: Make sure you’re dressed appropriately. Collared shirts are a must for guys.
- Course Condition: The course is really well-maintained. Props to the grounds crew!
- Atmosphere: The vibe at the clubhouse and bar is pretty chill and welcoming.
- Difficulty: The course is challenging but still fun, even if you’re not a pro.
Overall, I had a great time at TPC Piper Glen. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but if you’re into golf and appreciate a well-designed course, it’s worth checking out. I’ll definitely be back, that’s for sure.
