So, I’ve been watching a fair bit of golf lately, and I kept noticing Tommy Fleetwood. Great player, obviously. But what really caught my eye were his shoes. They just looked… different. Not the usual styles you see everywhere.

I got curious. Like, really curious. What was he wearing? They looked comfy but also really stable, which is something I definitely look for. You know how it is, you see a pro using specific gear, and you think, maybe that’s the secret sauce!
Digging Around
Finding out exactly what model they were took a little bit of effort. It wasn’t immediately obvious just from watching the TV coverage. I spent some time searching online, looking at photos from recent tournaments. Eventually, I managed to pin down the brand and the specific type he seems to favor most often. Turns out they were a particular Nike model, often variations of their Roshe or similar lines, sometimes custom stuff too which makes it tricky.
Once I figured out a version I could actually buy, I debated for a bit. Golf shoes aren’t cheap, right? But I kept thinking about how effortless he looked moving in them. So, I decided to pull the trigger and ordered a pair that looked pretty close to what I’d seen him wear.
Getting Them and First Feel
When the box arrived, I was pretty excited. Opened them up, and yeah, they looked good. Very clean design, sporty but not too loud. The real test was putting them on.
- First impression: Super lightweight.
- Fit: Snug, but in a good way. Felt like my foot was secure.
- Initial comfort: Walked around the house a bit, felt more like sneakers than stiff old golf shoes.
I was optimistic. Sometimes golf shoes need a bit of breaking in, but these felt decent right out of the box.

Hitting the Course
The next weekend, I took them out for a proper round. Weather was decent, course wasn’t too wet. First few swings on the range felt good. Stable. Didn’t feel like my feet were sliding around inside the shoe, which is a big pet peeve of mine.
Walking the course was the real test. I usually walk, don’t ride a cart often. That’s where comfort really matters over 18 holes. I’ve had shoes that feel great on the first tee and kill my feet by the back nine. These held up really well. My feet weren’t aching after the round, which was a massive plus.
Grip was solid too. No slips during the swing, even when I was hitting out of some slightly longer grass in the rough. They felt flexible enough but gave support where I needed it.
Final Thoughts
So, yeah. Trying out the ‘Fleetwood shoes’ was a pretty good move for me. They’re comfortable, they look sharp (in my opinion, anyway), and they perform well on the course. They feel less like clunky golf equipment and more like athletic shoes built for golf. Seeing him wear them definitely pushed me to try something a bit different, and I’m glad I did. They’ve definitely found a spot in my regular rotation.
