Okay, so I’ve been grinding away at this “Unending Tempest” thing in the game, trying to get that sweet, sweet god roll. Let me tell you, it’s been a journey.
First off, I spent hours just trying to figure out what I even wanted. There are so many options, you know? Like, I’d read that Tempest is pretty decent in PVE, not the best, but still good. I was maining Blood Knight for a long time, like a year, and honestly, Tempest did feel like it was doing a bit more damage when I tested it out on the training dummy. But man, the survivability is not great. It’s no Blood Knight with all that self-healing and shields, that’s for sure. Especially not great for the gauntlet, I found that out the hard way.
So, I knew I needed something that would help with that. I saw some folks talking about rolls that focused on spewing out certain types of grenades, but that’s not really my style. I like to get up close and personal.
After messing around for what felt like forever, I started to see some patterns. Perpetual Motion, Dynamic Sway Reduction, and Moving Target kept popping up. People were saying these were the way to go.
- Perpetual Motion seemed like a no-brainer. More stability and handling just for moving around? Yes, please!
- Dynamic Sway Reduction, now that one was interesting. Basically, it makes the gun more accurate the longer you hold down the trigger.
- And Moving Target, that just makes it easier to aim while you’re moving, which I’m always doing.
I kept playing, doing a bunch of crucible and iron banner matches, hoping to get lucky. And you know what? It finally happened! I got one with Perpetual Motion and Moving Target.
It was not perfect, but I was still pretty stoked. I took it for a spin, and it felt pretty darn good. Felt like I was landing more shots, especially when I was strafing and dodging.
Still, I kept at it. I figured, if I got this one, maybe I could get an even better one. And, well, I didn’t get the exact roll I was originally dreaming of, but after several days, I did manage to land another one with all three: Perpetual Motion, Dynamic Sway Reduction, and Moving Target.
Now this one, this one felt amazing. It was like the gun was practically aiming itself. I was melting enemies left and right. It might not be the absolute perfect god roll, but for me, it’s pretty close. I was so excited about getting this roll!
So yeah, that’s my story of hunting down the Unending Tempest god roll. It took a while, but I think it was worth it. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go dominate some more matches with my new toy.
