Okay, let me tell you about how I upgraded my item printer the other day. It was a bit of a process, but I figured it out and thought I’d share my experience.

First off, I had to get the item printer itself. For this, I went to the league room and started spending some BP there. I didn’t know how many points I would need, but I just kept using BP until the item printer showed up. It took a little while, but it was worth it.
Once I got the item printer, I started using it right away. I read somewhere that you have to use it a certain number of times to upgrade it. So, I put in a bunch of items and started printing. Each time I would use 10 items and I just kept doing this over and over again. I think I did it, like, three times using 10 items each time, just to make sure I was hitting that number.
After a bunch of print jobs, I got a message saying I could upgrade the printer. It started at the pokeball level, which is the basic one. I kept using it, doing more print jobs, and then I got the option to upgrade to greatball level. This was a nice improvement, but I wanted more.
So I kept at it, printing items like crazy. Then, I got the option to upgrade to ultraball level. At this point, the printer was getting really efficient. But, you know, I wanted that top-tier upgrade, the masterball level.
I just kept using the printer, doing job after job. Finally, I got the message that I could upgrade to masterball level. This was it – the best possible upgrade for the item printer.

So, yeah, that’s how I upgraded my item printer all the way to masterball level. It took some time and a lot of printing, but now it’s super efficient. Here is a brief summary:
- Get the Item Printer: Spent BP in the league room to unlock it.
- Start Printing: Used the printer with 10 items at a time, multiple times.
- Upgrade to Greatball: Kept using it until the upgrade option appeared.
- Upgrade to Ultraball: More printing, then upgraded again.
- Upgrade to Masterball: Continued printing until the final upgrade was available.
Hope this helps anyone trying to do the same!
