Okay, so let me tell you, I was really struggling to get those Battle Pass levels up in Fortnite a while back. It felt like I was grinding for ages and barely moving an inch. All those cool skins and emotes just seemed so far away, you know? I’d play match after match, and sure, I’d get some XP, but it wasn’t fast. Not fast enough for me, anyway.

My First Attempts and Frustrations
I was mostly just jumping into the regular Battle Royale. Sometimes I’d drop hot, try to get a bunch of eliminations, and then get wiped out pretty quick. Other times, I’d play it super safe, loot up for ages, make it to the end game, and then, bam, sniped. The XP was okay, but it was so inconsistent for me. I needed a better plan, a real strategy, if I wanted to unlock everything before the season ended.
The Quest Revelation
Then it hit me – the quests! I know, I know, sounds obvious, right? But I wasn’t really paying close attention to them before. I started by actually looking at the Daily Quests. These were usually pretty simple things, like “Land at Sleepy Sound” or “Deal damage with assault rifles.” I made it a habit to check these first thing when I logged on. Super easy XP right there.
After I got the hang of dailies, I moved on to the Weekly Quests. These took a bit more effort, sometimes they were a bit tricky, but the payoff was way bigger. I’d just focus on knocking out a few of those each play session. And let’s not forget the Milestones! Those are the ones that just happen as you play – like opening chests, thanking the bus driver, traveling distance. I didn’t actively chase them too hard, but they just kept ticking up in the background, giving a nice steady stream of XP. It all adds up!
Exploring Different Ways to Play
I started hearing people talk about getting good XP in Creative mode. So, I dived in. I wasn’t looking for any weird glitchy stuff, but I found some fun game modes that were actually designed to give you XP while you played. Some were deathruns, others were combat maps. It was a nice change of pace from Battle Royale, and the XP was surprisingly decent for the time spent, especially on maps that had the XP icon.
Now, this one’s a biggie if you have it: Save the World. I’ve owned it for a while, and man, when I remembered I could get Battle Pass XP from it, I started playing it more regularly. Completing missions in Save the World can give you a ton of XP that goes towards your Battle Pass. Seriously, if you’ve got access to it, don’t sleep on Save the World for leveling up.

When I just wanted to chill and get some consistent XP without too much stress, Team Rumble became my go-to. You respawn, there’s lots of action, and it’s great for finishing off some of those weapon-specific quests. I found I could rack up a good amount of XP per match pretty reliably.
Little Things That Helped in Battle Royale
Even back in the regular Battle Royale mode, I realized that just surviving longer gave a decent chunk of XP. So, I started playing a bit smarter, picking my fights more carefully, and focusing on placement. Getting into the top 25, top 10, or even snagging a Victory Royale really boosted the XP gain from those matches.
And, you know, playing with friends always makes the grind more fun. I’m not even sure if there’s always a direct party XP boost anymore, but tackling quests together or just having a laugh makes the time fly by, and before you know it, you’ve leveled up.
What Worked For Me
So, that’s basically what I did. It wasn’t one single magic trick. For me, it was about:
- Always checking and completing my Daily and Weekly Quests.
- Letting those Milestone quests build up naturally.
- Mixing in some Creative mode maps that give XP.
- Grinding Save the World missions (since I have it).
- Playing Team Rumble for consistent, lower-stress XP.
- Trying to survive longer and place higher in Battle Royale.
By doing a combination of all these things, I started seeing my Battle Pass level shoot up way faster. It took some effort, sure, but it felt good to finally unlock those rewards I was after. Hopefully, sharing my experience helps someone else out there trying to level up fast!
