So, the other day, I got curious about Evander Holyfield’s old place down in Georgia. You know, the massive one. Heard stories about it for years.
It started pretty randomly. I think I saw something online, maybe a picture, maybe just a mention of celebrity mansions. And Holyfield’s name popped up. That massive place he had built.
I thought, okay, let’s actually see what the deal is with this house. Where is it exactly? What’s it like now? So, I started digging around online. Just casual searching at first.
Typed in stuff like “Evander Holyfield Georgia house,” “Holyfield mansion Fayetteville,” that kind of thing. Lots of articles popped up, mostly old news about the foreclosure and all that drama. Sad stuff, really, losing a place like that.
Finding the Details
Then I started finding the crazy details. This place wasn’t just big, it was huge. Like, ridiculously big.
- People were saying it had over 100 rooms. I saw numbers like 109 rooms thrown around. Wild.
- Something like 12 bedrooms, maybe 21 bathrooms? The numbers were all over the place, but always massive.
- And the swimming pool. Apparently one of the biggest private pools in the whole US. Pictures looked insane.
- It sits on a ton of land too, near Fayetteville, Georgia.
Finding the actual address wasn’t too hard, it’s pretty well-known public knowledge now, especially since Rick Ross bought it. So, I pulled it up on Google Maps. Street View doesn’t get you close, obviously. It’s set way back, big gates, lots of trees. Security.
But the satellite view? Man. You can really see the scale of it from above. The main house, the pool, other buildings on the property. It takes up so much space. It looked like a resort, not a house.
I didn’t actually drive down there. It’s a private residence, you know? Didn’t feel right rolling up to the gates. Plus, it’s Rick Ross’s place now. He seems to be enjoying it, throws big parties there from what I’ve read.
Still, just researching it and seeing the pictures and satellite views was something else. It’s hard to even imagine living in a place that big. Must feel like walking around a hotel constantly.
My main takeaway? It’s just a wild symbol of… well, a lot of things. Incredible success to build it, but also how quickly things can change. And now it has a whole new life with a different owner. Crazy story, that house.
