Okay, so I wanted to watch UFC 310, but I didn’t want to pay for a subscription or anything like that. So, I started digging around to find a way to stream it for free. It was a bit of a Saturday project, I guess.

The Hunt Begins
First, I just hit up Google, you know, just typed in “ufc 310 free stream”. The usual suspects popped up – a bunch of shady-looking websites with tons of pop-ups and questionable promises.
I clicked on a few, and man, it was a minefield. Pop-ups everywhere, weird redirects, and some sites that just looked straight-up sketchy. My antivirus was probably working overtime. I quickly closed those down. I don’t need any viruses, thank you very much.
Reddit to the (Possible) Rescue
Then I remembered good old Reddit. There are usually subreddits for everything, right? So, I searched for some UFC-related subreddits and started looking through the threads. People were sharing links and tips, some of which were already dead, of course.
I found a couple of links that seemed promising. One was to a forum where people were discussing streaming options. They had a list of sites, some of which I’d already seen (and rejected), but a few were new.

Testing the Waters
I cautiously tried a couple of the new ones. The first one… total dud. Just a black screen, or sometimes it would load a player, but then it would just buffer forever. No luck.
The second one was a bit better. It actually loaded a stream! The quality was… well, let’s just say it wasn’t HD. It was pretty pixelated, and the audio was a bit out of sync, but hey, it was something! It kept cutting out though, which was super annoying.
Giving Up (For Now)
I messed around with it for a while, trying to find a better stream on that site, or refresh it when it froze, but honestly, it was more trouble than it was worth. I spent more time fiddling with the stream than actually watching anything. I ended up just following the live updates online instead. It wasn’t the same as watching it live, but it was better than nothing, and I didn’t have to deal with any more pop-up ads or buffering screens.
Maybe next time I’ll just bite the bullet and pay for the official stream,This is the best way to protect my safety and have high quality *, free isn’t really free, you know? You end up paying with your time and frustration.
