Getting My Hands on Blazehowl
So, everyone’s been talking about Blazehowl in Palworld, right? Saw some clips, looked kinda cool, that fiery lion thing. Decided I needed one for my base, maybe for fighting too. Seemed like a strong fire type, good for kindling and all that.
First off, finding this guy wasn’t exactly a walk in the park. I heard people saying check volcanic areas. Obvious enough. So, I packed up, grabbed my heat resistant gear – learned that lesson the hard way before – and headed towards the volcano zone. Mount Obsidian, that big fiery mountain.
Spent a good while just wandering around. It’s hot, ash everywhere, and loads of other tough Pals trying to jump you. Not exactly a vacation spot. I was looking during the day mostly, figured a fire lion might be more active then. Found plenty of Reptyro, Magmarus, the usual suspects. No Blazehowl though.
Getting frustrating, I tell ya. Almost gave up a couple of times. Thought maybe I was in the wrong spot, or maybe they only spawn at night? Tried that too. Flew around on my Nitewing, scanning the lava flows and rocky bits. Still nothing. Just more glowing red eyes that weren’t the ones I wanted.
Then, finally, saw one. Just chilling near a cliff edge. Big fella, looked meaner up close than in the pictures. Okay, time to catch it. Pulled out my best spheres – wasn’t gonna risk it with the cheap ones. Got into position, tried to sneak up a bit, but nah, it spotted me instantly. Charged right at me.
Man, this thing hits hard. Fire attacks everywhere. My Pal was getting toasted. Had to recall it a few times, keep dodging. Whittle down its health slowly, right? That’s the plan. Easier said than done. Used my crossbow, dodged some more fireballs. Got its health low, started chucking spheres.
- First sphere… broke instantly.
- Second sphere… shook once, broke.
- Third sphere… shook twice, come on… broke again!
Seriously thought I was gonna lose it. My gear was taking a beating, running low on arrows. One last Hyper Sphere. Threw it, closed my eyes kinda. Shook once… twice… three times… click! Gotcha! Felt good, man. Real good.
Dragged it back to base. Yeah, it’s pretty decent for kindling, fast too. And looks cool walking around. Was it worth the hassle? Yeah, probably. Felt like a proper hunt, you know? Not just clicking buttons. That’s the stuff I like about this game sometimes. You gotta actually do the work.
