Okay, so the other day I was playing this monster-collecting game, and my favorite Rock-type got absolutely wrecked. I was like, “Wait, what just happened?!” I knew Rock-types were strong against some things, but I couldn’t remember their weaknesses off the top of my head. So, I decided to do a little digging.

My Research Process
First, I grabbed my phone and opened up a search engine. I typed in something simple like “rock type weakness.”
The search results gave me a bunch of websites. I started clicking through a few of the top ones. A lot of them had these helpful charts and tables, all color-coded and everything. Super useful!
I skimmed through the information, looking for the stuff that jumped out at me. I noticed a pattern pretty quickly.
What I Found Out
- Water: Makes sense, right? Water erodes rock over time.
- Grass: Plant roots can break through rocks. I’ve seen it happen!
- Fighting: Think about a martial artist smashing bricks. Pure force!
- Ground: Earthquakes, landslides… yeah, ground beats rock.
- Steel: Metal is generally stronger and harder than stone.
The information that I found online states that those types deal “super effective” damage to *’s why my poor Rock-type got taken down so fast!
So yeah, that’s my little adventure in learning about Rock-type weaknesses. I made a mental note of all those weaknesses, so next time I won’t be caught off guard. Game on!
