Alright, so the question is: where is Harley made? I’ve been digging into this myself lately, so let me tell you what I’ve found.
First off, I started by hitting up the usual search engines. You know, just typing in “where are Harleys actually made” and seeing what popped up. A bunch of articles and forum threads, of course. Started clicking around, trying to get the real story.
What I quickly learned is that it’s not as simple as “Harleys are made in X place.” It’s more like, “parts are made here, assembly happens there…” a real global kind of thing. But I wanted to know the main places, the heart of it all.
York, Pennsylvania kept coming up. Apparently, that’s a big one. I mean, a massive factory. From what I gathered, they pump out a lot of the big bikes there – Sportsters, Softails, the Touring models, even the fancy CVOs. And the electric LiveWire too. Pretty much the core stuff.
Then I saw some stuff about Harley shifting things around a bit, trying to get smarter about how they make bikes. Consolidating production, that kind of thing. I read that they’re focusing on making their main bikes – the big touring bikes, Softails, and Trikes – in the US. Makes sense, those are their bread and butter.
