Okay, so the other day, I got thinking about that old basketball movie, you know, Rebound from back in 2005. It just kind of popped into my head.
I remembered Martin Lawrence was the main guy, the coach. That part was easy. But then I started wondering, who else was in it? Like, the kids on the team, or any other familiar faces I might have forgotten. My memory was a bit fuzzy on the details.
So, I decided I needed to figure it out. It was bugging me, you know? Just one of those things you suddenly want to know.
I grabbed my tablet, the one I usually use for browsing. Opened up the web browser. Went straight to my favorite search engine.
I typed in something simple, like “Rebound 2005 cast“. Didn’t need to get fancy with it. Hit enter and waited for the results.
Sure enough, a bunch of stuff came up almost instantly. Movie database sites, articles, the usual suspects.
Finding the Names
I clicked on one of the first results, looked like a reliable source. And there it was, the list I was looking for. It confirmed Martin Lawrence, obviously. Then I scrolled down to see the others.
- Martin Lawrence, yeah, as Coach Roy.
- Wendy Raquel Robinson – I remembered her! She played Jeanie Ellis.
- Breckin Meyer – Ah yes, Tim Fink.
- Horatio Sanz – Mr. Newirth, right.
- Megan Mullally – Principal Walsh, that was her!
- And then a bunch of the kids who played the team members, like Steven Christopher Parker, Oren Williams, Patrick Warburton (wait, he was in it? Okay, maybe a smaller part I forgot), Alia Shawkat… the list went on.
Seeing the names brought it back a bit. Some I recognized right away, others were like “Oh yeah, that person!”.
Sorted. It didn’t take long at all. Just a quick search and I had the answer. Satisfied that little curiosity. It’s funny how easy it is to look this stuff up nowadays compared to how it used to be. Anyway, that was my little mission for the moment – finding the cast of Rebound.
