Okay, folks, let me tell you about my little adventure at Wicomico Golf.

So, the other day, I was itching to get out and swing a club. I’d heard some buzz about Wicomico Golf, figured I’d give it a shot. I dusted off my old clubs – yeah, they’ve seen better days – and headed out.
Getting There and Getting Started
The drive was pretty straightforward, nothing too crazy. Pulled up to the course, and it looked… decent. Not super fancy, but definitely well-maintained. The grass was green, the fairways looked inviting, you know, the basics.
I checked in at the pro shop. The guy there was friendly enough, gave me the rundown, pointed me to the first tee. No frills, just straight to business, which I appreciate.
The Course Itself
Now, about the course… it was a good mix. Some holes were pretty open, gave you room to really let loose with your driver. Others were a bit tighter, with some trees and water that made you think twice. I definitely shanked a few into the woods – my bad.
- Hole 3: This one was a par 4, dogleg left. I tried to be cute and cut the corner. Ended up in the rough. Lesson learned.
- Hole 7: A par 3 over water. Pretty, but intimidating. Managed to clear the water, but still bogeyed it.
- Hole 12 Needed to choose the right one.
- Hole 18:It’s so hard and I need make a plan.
The greens were in pretty good shape. Rolled true, for the most part. I’m not the best putter, so I can’t blame the greens for my three-putts. That’s all on me.

The Overall Experience
Honestly, it was a solid day of golf. Nothing spectacular, but good, honest fun. I worked up a good sweat, lost a few balls, and made a few decent shots. That’s what it’s all about, right?
I finished up my round, grabbed a quick drink at the clubhouse, and headed home. Feeling tired, but good. Would I go back? Yeah, I probably would. It’s a good value for the money, and it’s a course that’s challenging enough to be interesting, but not so tough that it’s frustrating.
If my friend ask me to play golf in Wicomico Golf,I think I will say “let’s go”.
