Okay, so the other day I was trying to remember all the players from Costa Rica’s amazing 2014 World Cup run. I mean, they were the ultimate underdogs, right? I decided to put together the full roster, just for fun, and here’s how I went about it.

First, I fired up my browser. Gotta start somewhere, you know?
The Initial Search
I typed in something simple, like “costa rica world cup 2014”. I wasn’t even sure if I needed to add “roster” at that point. The search engine pretty much knew what I was after, though.
Finding a Reliable Source
I saw a bunch of results, so I went and find the most authorative one.
Compiling the List
I started making my own list. Just a simple text file, nothing fancy. I figured I’d organize it by position.
- Goalkeepers:I put their names in the text.
- Defenders:then the defenders, it’s easy to remember them.
- Midfielders:Of course, can not forget them.
- Forwards:Last but not least.
Double-Checking and Refining
Once I had all names, I still have to comfirm * know, just to be sure I didn’t miss anyone or misspell a name. It’s easy to mess those up!

All Done!
And that was it! It took a little bit of searching and organizing, but it wasn’t too hard. I had my complete Costa Rica 2014 World Cup roster, and a nice little trip down memory lane. I am satisfied.
