Okay, so WrestleMania 2024 is just around the corner, and like every other wrestling fan, I’ve been cooking up my predictions. I decided to put them down “on paper,” so to speak, and see how I do. Here’s how I went about it, and of course, my picks!

Getting Started: Gathering My Thoughts
First, I grabbed my trusty notebook and pen. Yeah, I’m old school like that. I find it easier to brainstorm when I can actually scribble things down. I started by listing out all the confirmed matches. Then, I went through and added any matches that are heavily rumored or that I think are likely to happen.
Diving into the Research (aka Watching a Ton of Wrestling)
Next, I spent a good chunk of time, and I mean hours, re-watching recent episodes of Raw and SmackDown. I wanted to get a good feel for the current storylines, the momentum of each wrestler, and any hints that WWE might be dropping. I also checked out some wrestling news sites, podcasts. You know to get different opinions.
Making My Predictions: The Fun Part!
This is where it gets interesting. With all my “research” done, I went back to my notebook and started making my picks. For each match, I considered a few key things:
- Storyline: Who’s the good guy (babyface)? Who’s the bad guy (heel)? What’s the story been building towards?
- Momentum: Who’s been winning lately? Who’s got the crowd on their side?
- Potential Surprises: WWE loves to throw curveballs at WrestleMania. Could we see a surprise return? A title change that nobody expects?
- My gut feeling: What do I think will really happen?
I wrote down my predicted winner for each match, and then I added a little note explaining why I made that pick. Sometimes it was based on solid reasoning, and other times, it was just a hunch.
Putting it All Together
After I finalized my predictions, I felt pretty good. I wanted to track the result after the show. I’m excited to see how many I get right! It’s all part of the fun of being a wrestling fan, right?
