Okay, so today I messed around with this Tom Gillis thing. First off, I had no clue who this guy was. But hey, I was bored, and it seemed interesting enough.
I started by doing what everyone does, I guess, I just typed “Tom Gillis” into the search engine. Lots of stuff popped up. Turns out, there are a few people named Tom Gillis, I guess it’s a more common name than I thought. After some digging around, I figured out which Tom Gillis everyone was talking about, the tech guy. I was sifting through loads of articles, trying to get a handle on what this guy’s deal was.
Once I had a decent idea, I started to look at some of his work. Found some interviews he did, watched a couple of videos where he was giving talks. Honestly, it was a bit overwhelming at first. This guy has done a lot, and it’s all over the place.
I tried to break it down into smaller pieces, you know? Like, what projects did he work on? What did he actually do? It was a slow process, picking apart all these different things he’s been involved with.
- First, I read some articles about him. Just to get a general idea.
- Then, I watched some videos. That helped a bit to put a face to the name.
- After that, I tried to find some examples of his work. That was tough, but I managed.
- Finally, I started to piece it all together. Like a puzzle, you know?

It took a while, but I finally started to see the bigger picture. I mean, it’s not like I’m an expert now or anything, but I definitely know more about Tom Gillis than I did this morning. I went through all these steps, and by the end of it, I actually had a pretty good understanding of who he is and what he does. It was a good day of learning, I’d say.
Anyway, that’s my little adventure for today. It wasn’t easy, but it was definitely interesting. And hey, I learned something new, so that’s always a win, right?
