Oh boy, let me tell you about this little adventure I had the other day. So, I’ve been playing this game, you know, that Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail, and there’s this thing called the “Ttokrrone Scale”. Sounds fancy, right? Well, it’s actually a pain to get, but let me start from the beginning.
First off, I had no idea what this Ttokrrone Scale was. It was mentioned like some kind of secret code among players. I saw it being discussed as a method to get a special mount, and you know what, I really wanted that special mount. Turns out, it’s something you need to unlock a mount called “Mehwapyarra.” Now, I’m not the best at remembering names, but trust me, this mount is cool, and I was determined to get it. You can only get it using these Ttokrrone Scales, and I had not even a single one at the start.
So, I started digging around. I’m talking forums, some chats, you name it. Eventually, I found out that you get these scales from completing something called a “FATE.” And not just any FATE, it’s “The Serpentlord Seethes” one. I was like, “Okay, sounds… ominous?”
Next up, I had to find where this FATE even takes place. This took a bit of searching, I won’t lie. But finally, I discovered it’s in the northern part of a place called “Shaaloani”. I can’t even pronounce that right, but I made my way over there. I’m no expert, but I followed the coordinates that I found online, and I got there.
Now, the real fun began. I triggered the FATE, and let me tell you, it was a wild ride. There was this giant, and I mean GIANT, serpent thing, the so-called “Serpentlord,” and it was not happy to see me. This thing was tough. I mean, it’s been crushing entire villages, so, yeah, not a walk in the park.
I fought this “Serpentlord” with everything I had. It was a tough battle, but I managed to pull through. I think it took me a few tries, and maybe I died a couple of times, but hey, who’s counting? The important thing is, I did it. I completed the FATE.
And guess what? After all that, I finally got my hands on those Ttokrrone Scales. It felt amazing. All that hard work paid off. I was so proud of myself that I did it. It is a good thing that you only have to do that once to get enough Ttokrrone Scales. I traded the scales for the Mehwapyarra whistle, and now I’ve got this awesome new mount to show off. It’s seriously the coolest thing ever.
So, yeah, that’s my story about getting the Ttokrrone Scale. It was a bit of a hassle, but totally worth it in the end. If you’re playing the game and you see someone riding around on a Mehwapyarra, just know they probably went through the same crazy adventure as me. And if you’re thinking about trying to get it yourself, just be prepared for a bit of a challenge. But trust me, it’s worth it!
