Okay, so I’ve been messing around with words lately, you know, just for fun. And I got this idea to look for 5-letter words where the second letter is ‘O’.
It started simple enough. I grabbed a pen and a piece of paper and just started jotting down any words that came to mind. You know, like “robot”, “motor”, stuff like that.
Then, I thought, “Hey, there’s gotta be a ton of these online, right?” So, I fired up my laptop and started googling. I typed in “5 letter words with O as the second letter” and boom! A bunch of websites popped up.
My Findings
- First, I landed on this one site that claimed to have a list of over 2400 words. 2400! I was like, “Whoa, that’s a lot.”
- Then I found another one that said they had 2281 words. Slightly less, but still a massive list.

I even stumbled upon a site that was all about helping you with brainteasers, and they had a section dedicated to 5-letter words with ‘O’ as the second letter.
- One other website got all fancy, talking about “elusive words” and how their list would help you “uncover” them. It felt a little dramatic, but hey, whatever works.
After browsing through a few of these lists, I realized there were way more words than I initially thought. It’s kinda crazy how many words fit that pattern. It turned out to be a pretty interesting little experiment. I mean, who knew there were so many 5-letter words with ‘O’ as the second letter? Not me, that’s for sure.
