The idea of having someone guide me one-on-one was really appealing. I read some reviews, found a coach with good ratings, and decided to give it a shot.

We started with the basics. My coach showed me how to stand, how to throw a jab, a cross, and a hook. It was harder than it looked! It’s not just about hitting; it’s about how you move your whole body. We did a lot of drills, practicing the same movements over and over again. I have to say, it was tiring but also really satisfying when I started to get the hang of it.

It’s one thing to practice the movements, but it’s a whole different thing to actually try to land a punch on someone who’s trying to avoid it and hit you back. I got tired pretty quickly, but it was an amazing experience.

  • Sparring is a whole different level. It’s where you put everything you’ve learned into practice, and it’s both challenging and rewarding.

So, that was my DDD Boxing adventure. It was tough, I sweated a lot, and I definitely felt it in my muscles the next day. But it was also incredibly fun and empowering. I’m definitely going to keep at it. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll be able to hold my own in a real boxing match! But for now, I’m just enjoying the journey and the process of learning something new.
