Okay, so I’ve been trying to figure out how to watch all the Dodgers games this season. It’s a bit of a pain, to be honest. I started by looking into what channels I needed.

I found out that I need a bunch of them: FOX, FS1, ESPN, MLB Network, TBS, SportsNet LA, and even Apple TV+. Man, that’s a lot! I don’t live in Los Angeles, so I can’t just get SportsNet LA easily.
I dug a bit deeper and saw that DIRECTV STREAM has a “Choice Plan”. It is expensive, like $109 a month, but it seems to have most of the channels I need. I hate paying that much, but what can you do? I love my Dodgers!
Then I remembered Amazon Prime Video. I’ve got a Prime membership already, mostly for the fast shipping, but they also stream some games. I think it’s mainly Thursday Night Football, so it is not going to be a primary souce for me. I am still considering if I need that expensive DIRECTV STREAM plan. It is really painful but maybe I have to.
So, here’s what I did:
- First, I made a list of all the channels that show Dodgers games.
- Then, I checked out different streaming services to see which ones offered those channels.
- I checked DIRECTV STREAM’s Choice Plan carefully, making a note of the price.
- I also looked into Amazon Prime Video since I already have a Prime membership.
- Finally, I’m still debating if I should shell out the big bucks for DIRECTV STREAM or try to piece it together with other options.
It’s still a work in progress. I haven’t pulled the trigger on anything yet. I’ll keep you guys updated on what I decide! It is really a big headache. Hope I can get it done before the season starts. Wish me luck!
