Okay, so today I wanted to talk about watching the Japan national football team, also known as the Samurai Blue. I’ve been trying to catch their games lately, and it’s been a bit of a journey, so I figured I’d share my experience.

Dont Miss a Goal! Your Guide to the Japan National Football Team Broadcast

First off, I started by looking up where these games are even broadcast. I mean, football is huge in Japan, right? Along with baseball, tennis, and all that. So, there’s gotta be a way to watch it. I found out that the Japan Football Association is the big boss for all the football stuff in Japan, and they handle the professional leagues like the J. League, which a lot of people say is the top league in Asia.

Then I dug a little deeper into how to watch the games. I came across this channel, DAZN JP, that apparently shows the Japan National Team games on-demand. Sounded promising, but I don’t have a subscription to that, and I wasn’t sure if it was available in my region.

  • Checked out DAZN JP for on-demand games.
  • Considered if it’s worth getting a subscription.

Next, I looked up TV schedules to see if any live matches were coming up. I found a website, but it wasn’t very helpful and required a subscription. Seemed a bit sketchy, to be honest. No thanks, I’m not about that spam life.

After that, I thought, “Maybe YouTube TV?” I mean, they have a bunch of channels, maybe one of them shows the games. They do offer a free trial, and you can apparently cancel anytime. I did check, but it didn’t have any games at the time. That was a bummer.

  • Tried finding live match schedules on a website.
  • Got turned off by the subscription and potential spam.
  • Looked into YouTube TV and started a free trial.

Trying to Watch Games

I did manage to find some info about past matches, like the Under-19 team playing against Sweden and Japan in Spain, but that didn’t help me watch live games. So, I kept searching.

Eventually, I realized that finding a reliable way to watch the Samurai Blue live is a bit tricky if you’re not in Japan or don’t have the right subscriptions. I even found out that Japan is actually pretty good at football, they have the second most American Football World Cups, apparently. Who knew?

  • Found some info on past matches, but no live games.
  • Learned that Japan is actually quite good at American Football.

So, that’s where I’m at. I haven’t quite cracked the code on watching the Japan National Team consistently yet. But I’m not giving up! I just have to find where I can watch it. I’ll keep digging, and if any of you have tips, let me know! It’s all about enjoying the game, right? And staying informed without getting spammed.
