Okay, so I’ve been trying to figure out Merab Dvalishvili’s walk-around weight, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. Here’s how I went about it, and what I think I’ve figured out.

Digging for Clues
First, I started with the obvious: Google. I typed in “Merab Dvalishvili walk around weight,” and… well, I got a lot of mixed information. Some sites said one thing, others said another. Nothing concrete, really. It was all over the place!
Then, I dove into some MMA forums. I figured, “Hey, these guys are hardcore fans, they’ll know.” I spent a good hour or two reading through threads, looking for any mention of his weight between fights. I found some people speculating, but again, no solid answers. Lots of “I heard…” and “I think…” but nothing definitive.
Watching Interviews and Podcasts
Next, I decided to go straight to the source – or as close as I could get. I started watching interviews with Merab and listening to podcasts where he was a guest. My thinking was, maybe he’d casually mention it in conversation.
- I spent a whole evening watching YouTube videos.
- I listened to a couple of podcasts while I was working out.
- I even tried to find some old interviews from before he was as famous.
I payed attention any time the subject turned to his weight, or weight cut. I watched like a hawk, hope every frame of videos would have hint.
The (Possible) Conclusion
After all this digging, I still don’t have a 100% confirmed answer. But, based on piecing together little bits of information from various sources, I think he walks around at somewhere between 155 and 165 pounds. That’s just an educated guess, mind you! He fights at bantamweight (135 pounds), and fighters usually cut a significant amount of weight, so this range seems plausible.
It’s frustrating not to have a definite number, but that’s the life of an MMA fan sometimes! Information isn’t always readily available. I’ll keep my eyes and ears open, and if I find anything more concrete, I’ll definitely update this. It is really hard to find a number!
