Alright, so I saw this post online about Guy Fieri’s new spot, DTPHX Kitchen + Bar, and I just had to check it out. It’s right downtown, by Chase Field, so I figured, why not make a day of it? Grab some buddies, head down, and see what all the fuss is about.

First off, getting there was easy peasy. I mean, it’s downtown Phoenix, so you know, parking can be a bit of a pain, but we managed. We walked in, and the place is pretty cool. It’s got that whole sports bar vibe, but like, kicked up a notch. Lots of TVs, people all around watching games and stuff, but it wasn’t crazy loud or anything.

We got seated pretty quick, which was nice. And the menu, man, it’s got all sorts of good stuff. I ended up going for one of their burgers because, well, I’m a simple guy. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. It was juicy, flavorful, and just hit the spot. My buddies tried some other things, like some appetizers and a couple of different cocktails.

I was snapping pics the whole time, because, you know, gotta document the good stuff. Food pics, pics of the place, the whole nine yards. I got some good shots of the bar area, too. It’s all shiny and new, and they’ve got a ton of different drinks. I’m not a big drinker myself, but I could appreciate the selection.

The Food

  • Burgers: Seriously, if you go, you gotta try the burger. It’s a classic, done right.
  • Appetizers: We shared a few, and they were all tasty. Nothing groundbreaking, but definitely good for munching on while watching a game.
  • Drinks: Like I said, I mostly stuck to water, but my friends seemed to enjoy their cocktails. They’ve got a bunch of signature ones, plus all the usual suspects.

After we ate, we hung around for a bit, just soaking up the atmosphere. It’s a fun place, you know? Good for a casual hangout, or if you’re a big sports fan, it’s probably even better. They have outdoor dining too and it looked pretty sweet.

All in all, it was a good time. I’d definitely go back, maybe for a game day or something. If you’re in downtown Phoenix and looking for a decent meal and a chill vibe, Guy Fieri’s DTPHX Kitchen + Bar is worth checking out. Plus, I got some killer photos out of it, so that’s always a win in my book.
