Oh, honey, you wanna talk about how you fat? I tell you, it ain’t no easy thing. But listen here, I got some things to say about it. These old bones been around the block a few times, seen a thing or two, so listen up!
Eat Good Stuff, Not Junk
First thing, you gotta put good stuff in your belly. Not that packaged stuff, all full of things you can’t even say the name of. I’m talking about real food. You know, the kind you grow, or at least like you coulda grown it yourself back in the day.
- Veggies: Eat them greens, and reds, and yellows. Fill your plate with them, I say.
- Fruits: Sweet like candy, but good for ya. Apples, berries, what have ya.
- Whole Grains: Bread made with the whole grain, not that white fluffy stuff. Oats, too, that’s good for your gut.
- Meat, but not too much, and fish, oh fish, make sure you eat good meat and fish, them are good for your body, but don’t be greedy.
Eat like that, and you’ll be feeling better already. And don’t be eating too late. Eat when you hungry, but don’t eat right before bed, it will make your belly uncomfortable.
Move Your Body
Now, you can’t just sit around all day and expect that fat to melt away. You gotta move! Back in my day, we didn’t have fancy gyms. We just worked. But you can walk, you can dance, you can chase the grandkids, whatever gets you moving.
If you gonna do exercise, need to warm up first, oh yeah, don’t pull a muscle, that hurt bad. Do some jumping, do some stretching. Do some warm up like when you are playing basketball or playing any game, make sure you warm up.
- Walk: Just a little walk every day does wonders.
- Dance: Put on some music and shake it!
- Play: Find something you like to do. Swimming, maybe?
Just gotta keep that body moving. Even a little bit helps. And don’t be afraid to sweat. Sweat is just your body’s way of cleaning itself out, that’s what I always say. You need to keep doing it, day after day, not just one day then stop, keep at it.

Sleep Like a Baby
When you tired, you gotta sleep. Don’t be staying up all night watching that glowing box. Your body needs rest to fix itself up. Get yourself a good night’s sleep, every night.
When you sleep well, you feel better, you eat better, you move better. It’s all connected, you see. If you cannot sleep well, maybe eat some banana, or drink some warm milk, they help you sleep.
Drink Water, Not Soda
That sugary soda, that ain’t good for nobody. It’s just empty calories, making you fat and not doing a lick of good. Drink water. Water is what your body needs. And it’s a good way to burn your fat.
- Water all day: Keep a bottle with you and sip on it.
- No soda: Just say no to that fizzy stuff.
- Tea is okay: But don’t be putting a whole heap of sugar in it.
Drink water, and your body will thank you. It’ll help you feel full, too, so you won’t be eating so much junk. Don’t drink too much water, that will also be bad. Drink when you are thirsty, don’t drink too much at once.
Be Patient, Honey
Now, this ain’t gonna happen overnight. It takes time to put on that fat, and it takes time to take it off. Don’t be getting discouraged if you don’t see results right away. Don’t think about doing it fast. You need to do it steady, and you need to keep at it. Just like growing vegetables in the garden, it needs time, it needs water, it needs sun. Your body is the same. Don’t give up!

Just keep doing the right things, and little by little, you’ll get there. You’ll feel better, you’ll look better, and you’ll be healthier. And be happy! You need to be happy, don’t be sad. Being sad is not good for your body. Being happy will help you get healthy.
That’s all there is to it. It ain’t rocket science. Just good old common sense. Eat good, move your body, sleep well, drink water, and be patient. And you’ll be on your way to a healthier, happier you, no matter how you fat.
You need to know, each person is different, what works for me might not work for you. So find something you like and just do it. That’s the key. You just gotta find what works for you and stick with it. And remember, it ain’t about being skinny, it’s about being healthy. That’s what matters.
