Okay, so I wanted to get this quest done called “Home is Where the Hearth is” in Dragon’s Dogma 2. It sounded pretty important, and honestly, I just wanted to see what the fuss was about.

Home Is Where the Hearth Is in DD2, What to Do (Quick Guide)

Starting the Quest

First things first, I had to find this guy named Lennart. He was over at Ulrika’s place, which I already knew ’cause I’d been there before. I walked over to her house, and sure enough, Lennart was inside. Chatted with him a bit, and bam, quest started. Seemed simple enough, just needed to grab some swords. No big deal, right?

Gathering Swords

Lennart told me I needed four swords from the smithy. I figured, “Alright, easy peasy.” I headed to the smithy, bought the swords—had to fork over some gold, but whatever, I was feeling generous. Took those swords right back to Lennart. I was feeling pretty good, like I was some kind of errand-running champion.

The Unexpected Fight

But then, things got a little hairy. As soon as I handed over the swords, a bunch of guards showed up. I was like, “Whoa, what’s going on?” Turns out, these guys weren’t too happy about something. We ended up in a brawl right there in town. I had to defend myself and, well, beat them up. It wasn’t pretty, but I managed to take them down.

Next, I ran into the building northeast of Lennart’s house and found some more swords. I guess this was a bonus or something from a previous quest I did, “Brothers Brave and Timid.” Whatever, more swords for me!

Wrapping it Up

  • After all that, I waited until nighttime.
  • Then, I went and talked to Ulrika. She’s usually hanging out at the dock to the north.
  • We had a little conversation.

And that was it! Quest complete. “Home is Where the Hearth is” was done and dusted. It was a bit more action-packed than I expected, but hey, that’s Dragon’s Dogma for ya. Plus, I got on Ulrika’s good side, which is always a plus.
