Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to catch some Celtics preseason games. I mean, who doesn’t love some good old basketball, right? But the thing is, I wasn’t exactly sure how to go about it. First things first, I needed to find out when they were playing.

I did a bit of searching around, and I found out that the Celtics were starting their preseason games with a match against the Charlotte Hornets. That sounded like a good starting point. And guess what? It was happening right at TD Garden. I’ve heard that place is buzzing during games.
Watching the Game
Now, the big question was, how do I watch it? I’m not always free to sit in front of the TV, so I wanted some flexibility. A buddy of mine told me about these streaming services. He mentioned something about fubo and DirecTV Stream. Apparently, they sometimes offer free trials. That’s cool because I can check them out without spending a dime. I signed up for the fubo free trial, and bingo, I got access to a whole bunch of games, including the Celtics ones! It’s awesome because they have NBC Sports Boston, which is where the Celtics usually play. Plus, I could watch games on ABC and ESPN too.
- Signed up for a free trial on fubo
- Checked out the game schedule
- Watched the Celtics vs. Hornets game live
I also saw something about Hulu Live TV and Sling being options to watch the games. They seemed interesting, but since I already had fubo working for me, I stuck with it. But hey, good to know there are other choices out there.
So yeah, I ended up watching the Celtics preseason game against the Hornets, and it was pretty awesome. I was jumping around in my living room like a maniac! It was super easy to set up, and I didn’t even have to leave my couch. Plus, with the free trial, it didn’t cost me anything. I’d say that’s a win-win situation!
I heard that Boston also played some games in Abu Dhabi. The NBA is really going international these days, huh? Anyway, my main focus was to catch the Celtics in action, and I did just that. It was a blast, and I’m definitely going to be tuning in for more games this season.

Oh, and I also learned that they have NBA League Pass. But for now, fubo is working just fine, especially with the free trial period. If you’re into basketball and want to watch the Celtics or other teams, give these streaming services a shot. It’s way easier than you might think, and you might even snag a free trial like I did.
