Okay, so, today I really got into watching Justin Thomas at the Scottish Open. I mean, I spent my whole day with this. Started early in the morning, I just turned on the TV and there it was, live golf.

First thing, I grabbed my phone and looked up the leaderboard, you know, just to get my bearings. Noticed Justin was a few shots back, so I was like, “Alright, game on.” Got myself some coffee, settled into my couch, and just watched him play.
I followed every shot, every putt. Man, that guy can swing! There were a couple of holes where he absolutely crushed it. I was jumping up and down, like a little kid, when he sank that long putt on the 8th. Seriously, it was awesome.
But, you know, it wasn’t all smooth sailing. There were a few bogeys in there, too. I remember on the 12th, he ended up in the rough, and I was like, “No way, don’t mess this up!” But, he managed to recover pretty well. I think I held my breath for the entire time until he got back on track.
- Watched the entire round
- Checked the leaderboard constantly
- Cheered for every good shot (and groaned at the bad ones)
- Felt like I was right there with him on the course
Later in the day, I got my buddies to come over. We ordered some pizza and just kept watching. It was so much fun to see him in action. We spent the rest of the afternoon debating his strategy, you know, armchair quarterbacking and all that. We even made some friendly bets on whether he’d make certain shots. I won a few bucks, I guess I know my golf!
By the end of the day, I was totally exhausted, but it was worth it. Even though he didn’t win, he still played a great round. I felt like I was part of the whole thing, and it was a blast.

I kept refreshing the scores on my phone, even after the broadcast ended, hoping he might make some late charge, but it didn’t happen.
Anyway, that was my day. Just a regular guy, totally engrossed in watching Justin Thomas play golf. It was a great way to spend a day, and I can’t wait for the next tournament.
That’s my experience!
Oh, I also took some notes during the day, just jotting down some thoughts and observations. Nothing fancy, just some scribbles. It’s kind of cool to look back and remember those moments.
I should do this more often, seriously.
Well, that’s all from me for now. Time to relax and maybe watch some highlights again. Later!
